Tasting notes: key lime, rock sugar, botanical, wild berries
The CCS Acevedo Cup is an annual quality competition that brings together the entire community of specialty producers in the micro-region of Acevedo in Huila. The top twenty coffees are ranked and awarded a premium for their coffees. Coming in third place in the competition, the price paid for Sandra’s coffee was 1.8 million pesos per carga (for reference, the winner of the Acevedo cup was paid 2.2 million). Sandra has been producing coffee for 13 years on a farm that was founded in 1989 by her grandparents. She is proud to be a coffee producer and plans to pass her legacy on to her own kids one day.
